<p>I spent the summer working with High Line Art to photograph 27 female artists out on the disused &#8211; soon to be torn down &#8211; Pier 54, in part a response to a 1971 show at the MoMA entitled <em>Pier 18</em>, which included works from 27 male artists and photographed by Harry Shunk and János Kender.</p>
